This role is available for candidates in the Montreal and Toronto area

This is a role based in Montreal, with some travel expected to support AWS field engagement, customer meetings, and events. There are no weekly in-office expectations, though occasional presence may be required.

As Partner Sales Manager – AWS Channel, you will act as the Cortex point of contact for AWS Account Executives and partner teams. Your role is to enable, influence, and directly support AWS-led opportunities, especially in areas where Cortex excels: IT infrastructure, VDI/EUC, VMware, and container platforms. You may also contribute to internal direct sales efforts related to AWS.


Key Responsibilities:


Partner Sales & AE Engagement

  • Serve as the main liaison for AWS Account Executives (AEs) and field teams.
  • Present Cortex’s value in use cases such as VDI (Citrix, Workspaces, Horizon, AVD), VMware modernization, cloud storage (S3, FSx), and containerization (EKS, ECS).
  • Participate in direct sales efforts and Cortex-led campaigns aligned to AWS workloads.


Pre-Sales & Technical Alignment

  • Support early-stage discovery, solution mapping, and qualification for AWS opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal technical resources for solution validation, proposals, and demos.
  • Track and manage opportunities in ACE and Salesforce.


Co-Sell & Program Execution

  • Drive co-sell pipeline in collaboration with AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs).
  • Leverage AWS programs (MAP, OLA, ISV Accelerate, DWS) to support opportunity acceleration and co-funded engagements.
  • Participate in joint account planning, workshops, and GTM activities.


Internal Collaboration & Sales Support

  • Actively collaborate with Cortex’s internal sales and marketing teams to support pipeline development.
  • Provide visibility on AWS initiatives, field motions, and emerging opportunities.

Here’s how to determine if you’d be a fit:

Must-haves

  • At the very least 2+ years of experience in partner/channel sales, cloud solutions etc...
  • 3+ years in related roles such as IT solution sales, technical pre-sales, or customer success
  • Knowledge of AWS workloads, IT infrastructure, EUC platforms, VMware, and containers
  • Familiarity with the AWS Partner Network and co-sell tools (ACE, Partner Central)
  • Bilingual (English fluency required)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills
  • Self-starter with strong organization and follow-through
  • Willing to travel within North America


Nice-to-have

  • AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect)
  • Experience in managed/professional services
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and AWS sales platforms
