Job Description
Administers, scores, and interprets psychological assessments under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience
2 years of experience in work-related field setting or administration and scoring of neuropsychological and/or psychological tests along with a Bachelor’s degree
OR
1 year of experience with a Master’s degree. This experience can include experience gained as part of a graduate training program.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in psychological assessment in a pediatric outpatient and/or inpatient setting
Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited school
Experience in psychological assessment in a medical setting
Bilingual English/Spanish
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited school
Certification Summary
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Proficiency with designated assessment measures across cognitive domains
Accuracy with administration and scoring of assessment measures
Well-written behavioral observations
Timeliness with documentation
Personal organization and time management
Human relations and teamwork
Personal adaptability and motivation
Listening
Job Responsibilities
Administer psychological assessments and testing, predominantly in the outpatient setting.
Document patient information according to hospital policy.
Maintain professional development.
Participate in the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.
Perform other responsibilities as required.
