What is the scope of the role?
As an M365 Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced support for Microsoft 365 applications and services. You will handle escalations from Level 1 support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. You will work closely with the IT team to manage and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other related services.
What will your responsibilities be?
Provide Level 2 support for Microsoft 365 applications and services, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
Responding to and managing incidents and service requests escalated from Level 1 support, ensuring timely resolution and communication with users.
Provide guidance and support on Microsoft 365 applications, including training and best practices.
Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures related to Microsoft 365.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Microsoft 365 services with other systems and applications.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for Microsoft 365 applications and services.
Provide support for audits and compliance checks, ensuring the Microsoft 365 environment meets relevant regulations and standards.
Create new teaching material and processes changes (for new Microsoft features)
Keep a close eye on the M365 roadmap.
What should you bring to the table to make us want you?
Skills:
Strong experience in administering and supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Microsoft 365.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and configuration techniques, including user and group management, security settings, and compliance features.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 integrations and the ability to develop and maintain integrations with other systems and applications.
Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of network and information security concepts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and end-users.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to provide well-documented records.
Self-driven to stay up to date with the latest features and best practices in Microsoft 365.
Education:
A relevant degree, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, is a plus.
Possessing certifications in Microsoft 365 is highly advantageous.
Experience:
At least 3+ years of experience in a related role, with a reference list of Microsoft 365 administration, support, and projects tasks completed during that period.
Language:
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
