The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:

The Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator supports the Learning and Development (L&D) organization in enabling career development for RTX’s 185,000+ employees. This role will be responsible for coordinating essential L&D operations, including communicating with key stakeholders, coordinating with department leaders, and general functional support. 

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Learning and Development and will work closely with the business unit (BU) and talent teams across RTX. 

What You Will Do

  • Provides administrative support to the Sr. Director of L&D, along with the Learning & Development team as needed.
  • Managing calendars – understanding priorities, scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts effectively and efficiently.
  • Meeting preparations including booking conference rooms, escorting visitors, printing materials, connecting Zoom calls, and organizing catering.
  • Scheduling all aspects of travel (domestic and international) – available off hours (as needed) and ensure all necessary documents and processes are followed in advance of travel dates.
  • Accurately processing expense reports with timely submission.
  • Assisting in the preparation of correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents for various audiences.
  • Processing invoices prior to due date.
  • Maintaining team documents such as contact lists, org charts, onboarding tools and L&D team calendar.
  • Managing the L&D Inbox and triaging messages as required.
  • Reviewing LMS Enrollments, sending invites for programs and managing participant responses.
  • Creating surveys; evaluating survey data and submitting quarterly reports across programs.
  • Managing financial chargebacks for program attendees.
  • Reviews/organizes L&D team Sharepoints for ongoing maintenance.
  • Support with translation management as needed.
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks that may require learning new systems and processes.
  • Facilitates and/or participates of special projects and events as directed for key L&D objectives.
  • Vendor Management & Coordination, to include:
  • Monitoring L&D program vendors and maintains organized documentation of statements of work, financial and billing records, and program communications.
  • Coordinating with program leads to organize training events and conferences.
  • Managing participant communications regarding program and vendor information.
  • Tracking and reports program and participation data. 
  • Travel up to 10%, or as needed.

 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • AA/AS Degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or related field.
  • Prior experience with digital collaboration tools and video/virtual conferencing platforms.
  • Prior experience working independently with moderate supervision and able to collaborate with team members.
  • Prior experience in a role requiring organization and time management skills with the ability to deliver timely, quality products.
  • Prior experience following directions thoroughly and maintaining confidentiality of any company sensitive information.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
