\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus at least 3 years of experience as a system administrator or in a similar role, with a focus on managing Windows and Apple products.
\nPreferred: Expert experience with Apple operating systems.
\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
\nLocation: This position may be based on any VSCS campus or center, with preference going to central Vermont or the Montpelier area first. Some remote work possible but the incumbent must reside in Vermont.
\nAdditional Information:
\nThis position may require occasional travel to different office locations with reliable personally owned vehicle. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
\nMust be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs of computer equipment as necessary.

ENDPOINT ADMINISTRATOR

BASIC FUNCTION:
As an Endpoint Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Vermont State College System’s IT systems. You will manage and support a diverse range of devices, including Windows computers, printers, and mobile devices, in addition to Apple products. You will provide exceptional technical support to faculty, staff, and students, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, implement system upgrades, and deliver excellent customer service.
