MFT Developer

The MFT Developer/Engineer will work and co-exist with the current MFT team, to engineer, migrate and support the existing jobs that service our MFT operations. This position will assist in providing critical support with analysis and migration of currently deployed jobs in GoAnywhere MFT to Jscape MFT. The engineer will be responsible for planning and development of the jobs in Jscape MFT Environments for efficient transfer of data between internal and external Webster systems. Skills & Responsibilities: • Experience in engineering, developing, and supporting MFT solutions (Jscape) in Unix and Windows enterprise environments• Strong experience using protocols/technologies such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, AS2, and secure file transfer methodologies• Understanding and experience of encryption algorithms (PGP, SFTP/SSH, etc.), secure file transfer practices, networking/network protocols, firewalls and how they relate to MFT• knowledge of scripting languages such as shell scripting, PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, Ansible• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases, ability to build queries and stored procedures.• Knowledge of cloud Storage integration (AWS, Azzure) will be beneficial• Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot development issues during migration to achieve timely delivery• Oversee the end-to-end file transfer process including planning, scheduling, and execution• Provide L2/L3 Support, serve as an escalation point for junior team members to promptly resolve issues
