Job description

Our partner is looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing BI & Analytics team and take a key role in designing and maintaining modern data infrastructure and scalable data pipelines across multiple countries and business units. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an evolving Azure Data Lakehouse environment and work closely with Data Analysts, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

What you'll do:

Ensure stable, reliable operation of existing data integrations and pipelines
Design and build new ETL/ELT processes and data interfaces
Collaborate with Data Analysts to deliver user-friendly data products
Take part in the full development lifecycle: design, development, deployment
Support multiple business units across several European markets
Create and maintain technical documentation
Help ensure data quality, security, and compliance

Our tech stack includes:

Azure Data Lakehouse (Synapse Analytics, Serverless SQL)
MS SQL Server, Power BI, QlikView
CI/CD, orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with:

3–5 years’ experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or similar
Strong SQL skills and background in MS SQL Server
Experience with Azure cloud services and data modeling concepts
Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools
A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, economics, or a related field
Solid English skills (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

Experience in FMCG or multinational environments
Familiarity with Python, R, or C#
Experience with OLAP cubes and version control systems
Knowledge of QlikView/QlikSense or advanced Excel (Power Query, VBA)
