GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

The Manager – Operations Design will work on high impact, innovative projects in support of DaVita’s dialysis clinics, which provide care for 200,000+ vulnerable patients. The agile Operations Design team is tasked with generating capacity for DaVita’s frontline healthcare workers, which will be reallocated to activities such as integrated care for patients, teammate development, patient engagement, or other strategic efforts. This could include initiatives such as: 

  • Generation of new ideas that could generate capacity for our frontline 

  • Applying design thinking principles in translating initiatives from idea to proof of concept 

  • Building business cases for projects, including market research and financial analysis 

  • Partnering with cross-functional DaVita teams and external vendors to create products 

  • Executing proof of concept tests in DaVita clinics 

  • Consulting with other DaVita teams on projects that impact our clinics, with the intent to reduce the impact on frontline healthcare workers 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manages projects with an ownership mentality from idea conception to delivery by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operations, People Services, and legal 
  • Displays continuous improvement mentality in assessing their work, including building objective processes to test outcomes, financial models, and designing market research 
  • Solves problems creatively & generates new ideas that further the team’s goal of generating capacity 
  • Conveys findings in a cohesive story and is comfortable presenting to leadership 
  • Builds relationships with frontline workers in clinics 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary/ Wage Range

$55,000.00 - $100,000.00 / year

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

• New York Exempt:
• New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year
• Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year
• Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year

New York Non-exempt:
• New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour
• Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour
• Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour


Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year

Washington Non-exempt:
• Bellingham: $17.66/hour
• Burien: $21.16/hour
• Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour
• Renton: $20.90/hour
• Seattle: $20.76/hour
• Tukwila: $21.10/hour
• Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
