Position Overview

As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our patients. Your positive attitude, compassionate nature, and exceptional organizational skills will help set the tone for each patient’s experience. You will play a vital role in both the front office operations and in supporting patients as they navigate their care plans and prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all patients with warmth, empathy, and professionalism—both in person and over the phone.
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with program-related inquiries, including prescription questions and journey progress.
• Support a smooth and stress-free check-in/check-out experience.
• Utilize our electronic medical records (EMR) systems to schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments according to the program’s outlined patient journey.
• Coordinate provider schedules to optimize care delivery and maintain appointment flow.
• Onboard new patients to our mobile platform.
• Educate patients on how to use the app, manage appointments, and access resources.
• Assist with medication prior authorizations and liaise with pharmacies and insurance providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EMR system.
• Support office organization, inventory tracking, and general upkeep of front desk supplies.
    

Qualifications

• 1+ years of front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare or wellness setting. 
• Strong familiarity with EMR systems and patient scheduling software. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a naturally empathetic and upbeat demeanor. 
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. 
• Experience with patient onboarding and mobile technology support is a plus. 
• Prior experience with medication prior authorizations preferred. 
• A team-first mentality, with a genuine enthusiasm for patient care and wellness.
