Job Summary: 

This position is responsible for leading HRIS project efforts for our growing organization. The HRIS Project Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution of initiatives spanning all areas of the HR technology landscape.  This role will guide the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of HR systems across the organization. This role will collaborate across HR, IT, Finance, and Business leaders to ensure all deliverables meet the expectations of impacted functions 

Responsibilities: 

  

Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Collaboration:  

  • Guide stakeholders, including leadership, and act as a trusted advisor to define and implement HRIS strategy 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless stakeholder engagement, foster organizational change, and maintain consistent messaging throughout the enterprise 
  • Promote accountability and operational rigor to enhance service delivery outcomes across the organization  

Systems Implementation & Optimization:  

  • Collaborate with HRIS Solutions group to design and implement process improvements and scalable solutions across the HRIS ecosystem   
  • Serve as a liaison between HR and technology vendors to streamline system integrations and user experiences 

Change Enablement & Training:  

  • Create and nurture effective communication across large populations at all levels of the organization 
  • Support change management, training and post-implementation adoption for HRIS solutions 
  • Design and deliver enablement resources, training materials, and communications to support new processes and technologies  

Project Management & Continuous Improvement:  

  • Define and implement the program governance framework, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes 
  • Build and oversee high-performing project teams, ensuring program objectives are met while delivering high-impact outcomes 
  • Lead and manage full lifecycle of HR Technology projects driving implementation and continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Identify risks and partner with leadership and stakeholders to determine root cause and resolution requirements while maintaining alignment with project deadlines 

Data Integrity & Governance:  

  • Ensure HRIS projects comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as data privacy and labor laws 
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and maintain data accuracy throughout the employee lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage process improvements and automation 
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and manage stakeholder expectations effectively 
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality  
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, quality work 
  • Able to grow with the company and engage in new projects and assignments 

  

Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field - or recognized equivalent in education and experience, required 
  • 5+ years of related experience in project management 
  • 3+ yeas of experience in HRIS platforms required, Workday experience preferred
  • Experience with domestic and international HR project management 
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and data governance best practices.  
  • Experience in various HR modules with knowledge about HR processes, policies, and compliances 
  • Project management certification (PMP, Lean Six Sigma) is a plus  

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
