Business Monitoring Manager

About the Job

 

The Business Monitoring Manager is a pivotal role within the Commercial Finance organization, responsible for leading key digital transformation initiatives and enhancing business performance transparency across Xellia’s commercial operations. The role supports the Senior Director of Business Monitoring in driving business intelligence maturity, automation incl. AI and actionable insight generation to improve commercial decision-making and operational efficiency.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional digital transformation initiatives aimed at boosting organizational efficiency through commercial reporting automation, AI-driven solutions, system integration and real-time analytics.
  • Support the development and maintenance of scalable business monitoring frameworks across sales, gross profit, pricing and forecast accuracy
  • Partner with stakeholders in Sales, Pricing, Finance, IT and other departments to gather requirements and co-create analytics solutions
  • Contribute to executive-level reporting and insights that support strategic planning and performance reviews
  • Ensure alignment between global KPIs and local execution through centralized tracking and consistent performance metrics
  • Maintain and improve data quality standards, data compliance, governance processes and documentation
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and executive briefings on performance trends, risks, and opportunities

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally in digital transformation, business intelligence, analytics-focused or related roles
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives from design to implementation
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and modern analytics tools
  • Experience with BI platforms such as Power-BI and/or CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Prior experience in managing or mentoring team members is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into business-relevant insights
  • Background in the pharmaceutical industry, familiarity with machine learning and AI/ML/LLM is considered an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across departments and seniority levels
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Knowledge of German or Danish is considered an advantage

 

Physical Requirements of the role:

 

  • This position is open to remote work. Occasional travel to headquarters or other locations be required for workshops or alignment meetings.
