Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer with expertise in Laravel and PHP to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable web applications, designing robust APIs, and writing clean, maintainable code. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining mission-critical systems for our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure back-end applications using Laravel and PHP.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.
Integrate with AI models and machine learning services, enabling smart features and automated decision-making.
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, AI engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Implement security best practices to protect applications and data.
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development and AI integration.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in back-end development with a focus on PHP and Laravel.
Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and software development best practices.
Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Memcached) and performance optimization.
Knowledge of security principles (authentication, authorization, data protection).

Proficient in writing unit tests and conducting debugging.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Interest or experience in integrating with AI models, ML services, or AI-driven platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (Anguler) is a plus.
Knowledge of microservices architecture is an advantage.
Prior experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
Hands-on experience with AI model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, custom ML services) is a significant advantage.
