Job description

Location: Cyprus

We are seeking a Private Equity Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of investment experience, preferably with a background in bulge bracket banks, private equity funds or in-house M&A at leading technology firms, to join our esteemed international Private Equity fund, headquartered in Cyprus. This role focuses on analyzing and strategically managing portfolio companies, emphasizing their growth and eventual realization, with involvement in new projects and transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of portfolio companies, assessing financial performance, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to foster growth and enhance value within portfolio companies.
  • Facilitate the execution of exit strategies for portfolio investments, including IPOs, M&A transactions, or divestitures.
  • Evaluate potential new investment opportunities through comprehensive due diligence and financial modeling.
  • Collaborate closely with investment teams and senior management to devise and execute investment strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/ masters degree from a prestigious university.
  • CFA designation preferred.
  • Fluency in both Russian and English languages is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in investments, preferably with a background in bulge bracket banks, private equity funds or in-house M&A at leading technology firms.
  • Industry expertise in technology, retail, e-commerce, financial institutions, or fintech is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
