Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and key insights.
  2. Design, code, and maintain parts of the product and drive customer adoption.
  3. Work with structured and unstructured (text) data, performing extensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering.
  4. Develop and validate statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world business problems.
  5. Implement and maintain data pipelines, ensuring scalability and performance.
  6. Utilize Python and relevant open-source libraries for data processing, visualization, and predictive modeling.
  7. Run and fine-tune open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for NLP tasks (preferred but not mandatory).
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and product development.

Requirements:

  1. Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science).
  2. Strong programming skills in Python (including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  3. Experience with text data processing (e.g., NLP, regex, tokenization) is a plus.
  4. Prior exposure to open-source LLMs (e.g., Llama, Mistral) is a plus.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
  6. Strong scripting and test automation abilities
