Job description

Overview:

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking an Operations Analyst. As an operations analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in identifying improvements, prioritizing those improvements, and gathering functional requirements for implementation across our five Policy Services departments. A great candidate will have experience with data-driven value assessment and gathering functional business requirements. An excellent candidate would have the above, along with P&C insurance experience.    

What you’d be doing: 

  • Assist with preparing weekly/monthly/annual results and performance reporting  
  • Help manage the work intake process and solution roadmap for the Policy Services department  
  • Perform data-driven analysis to justify and prioritize proposed projects  
  • Independently collaborate with Policy Services team leads and team member SMEs to gather functional business requirements for all projects that come into the work intake process  
  • Maintain analysis and business requirement documentation for Policy Services projects  
  • Support ad-hoc projects/requests that come in from Policy Services Leadership 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to learn and effectively convey medium complexity topics to leaders, business partners or clients  
  • Critical thinking skills specifically the ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions  
  • The ability to identify potential process improvements & support continuous improvement efforts  
  • Solid planning, leadership, and administration skills  
  • High energy with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task  
  • Attention to accuracy and detail  

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree   
  • Experience with P&C insurance
