Job description

Sr. QA Engineer

PayTrace- Remote, US

What you'll be doing:

Review and Maintain our current automated testing scripts/processes
Develop new automated testing scripts/processes

Participate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing estimates

Managing a defect log, issue resolution and validation of the fix
Develop, Document and Maintain testing strategies and testing scenarios
Collaborate with other Engineers, Architects, Quality Assurance, Quality Automation, System Engineers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters in solving new and existing technical challenges
Analyze and determine proper testing procedures/processes
Improve quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage through lessons learned.
Identify product performance issues during new product development.
Assist in post-implementation, continuous improvement efforts to enhance systems and applications.

What we need from you:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Minimum (5) years of experience with QA and testing methodologies; payments industry experience preferred
Minimum (5) years of experience analyzing system and application failures and bugs
Minimum (3) years of experience in test automation with Test Cafe
Minimum (1) year of experience with Linux/Ubuntu
Experience writing SQL queries
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with testing web applications
Experience with testing SOAP, REST, or similar web services
Experience with source control such as Git, SVN
Ability to write, debug and maintain test scads/scripts
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic, and timeline sensitive work environment

Salary Range: $80,000- $110,000
