Provide advisory services on all tax related matters for the organization's investment management entities.
Work closely with local finance teams, group tax, internal/external service providers regarding tax reporting, tax accounting and compliance (including transfer pricing) for investment management entities within the group.
Manage a variety of group and local tax advisory issues.
Review and ensure of monthly/quarterly tax journals, quarterly GST reporting, bi-annual corporate tax reporting.
Support for tax advice or queries, including but not limited to cross border tax matters across APAC, withholding tax, indirect tax, and tax accounting.
Manage fund management entities transfer pricing (TP) position to ensure that TP risks are mitigated and that required TP documentation is prepared in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
Enhance engagement between group tax and investment management businesses.
Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned to meet operational or other requirements.
Essential Requirements:
More than 7 years of experience in accounting or in-house corporate tax or operational taxes functions.
Strong understanding of international tax landscape, experience of Singapore taxes preferable.
Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Life insurance industry/asset management experience will be an added advantage.
