Job Description

As Senior Process Engineer you will be responsible of the process design in both requisition activities (supporting feasibility, pre-FEED, FEED and EPC activities) and new product development programs related to different technologies (e.g. Heat Pumps, Low enthalpy Geothermal, Gas compression, Hydrogen compression & transportation, Power Generation) ranging from Oil and Gas to Industrial applications.

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for

  • Performing process static simulations. Proficiency on dynamic simulation modeling is considered a plus; 
  • Releasing process deliverables such as process/cycle schematics, Heat & Material Balance, process data sheet for main equipment, hydraulic calculations and Process Narratives;  Supporting the development of drawings as PFDs, P&IDs up to ‘as built’ level; 
  • Leading flow down program/project requirements meeting schedule and assigned project budget; 
  • Participating in and contributing to design reviews and safety reviews (Hazid, Hazop, FERA, FMEA, etc.) from conceptual to detailed design; 
  • Interacting with all other engineering disciplines involved in plant design as well as other business functions; 
  • Participating in technical meetings with Customers; 
  • Supporting procurement of equipment (from technical alignment to supplier follow up); 

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Hold a master’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
  • Have proven experience in process engineering in major Oil & Gas & Industrial companies and/or EPCs
  • Possess experience in process engineering in Industrial Heat pumps and Hydrogen compression and transportation will be considered preferential
  • Be experienced in process team coordination and management; 
  • Have experience in rotating machinery design
  • Be able to use process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, UniSim, Hysys, Promax, Ebsilon
  • Possess knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements and Safety protocols, including basic competencies in gas dispersion and fire suppression
  • Possess knowledge of International Codes like EN, API, ASME
  • Be fluent in English
