• Sample Analysis o Meet dynamic fast paced business demands for analytical measurements in support of R&D/pilot production of materials supplied to customers. o Support analytical measurements for molecular weight characterization, determination of residual monomers and residual solvents, identify unknown components and quantitate overall purity for polymers and small molecules across multiple projects. • Lab and Equipment Operations o Function as an effective and productive member of various project teams. Coordinate analytical measurements within group projects. o Manage and maintain analytical laboratories, including writing SOPs, equipment maintenance and upkeep, and safety documentation. o Maintain electronic lab notebooks and deliver analytical reports. • Safety o Proven safety track record with commitment to ZERO incidents/injuries o Experience working with hazardous chemicals • Proven track record of meeting project goals on aggressive timelines
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE • Proficiency with some analytical techniques below o HPLC, UPLC, LCMS o GC, GCMS o GPC o Karl Fisher titrator, rheometer, UV-vis spectrophotometer • Knowledge of organic chemistry and electronic materials a plus
Qualifications *** Electronics and Industrial (E&I) is seeking to employ an Analytical Chemistry Technical Associate as a contractor. The successful candidate will assist an interdisciplinary process chemistry and engineering team in the Emerging Technologies organization aimed at the scale-up and commercialization of product candidates from the E&I division. The position will provide analytical chemistry support in a team environment for organic synthesis, polymerization and process development. This position is 100% on-site. QUALIFICATIONS • BS/MS Chemistry with a minimum of two years of analytical experience, industrial experience a plus • Excellent organization and communication skills (written and verbal) • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously • Experience in an R&D or Pilot plant environment a plus *THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE ONLY
