Job Description: CI/CD Engineer

Hybrid - Concord, CA

What are the top skills required for this role?

Proven experience with Gradle for build automation.

Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc. Experience working with Harness is important

Solid understanding of cloud platforms including OpenShift, Azure, and GCP.

Cloud platform experience (Open shift, Azure, GCP etc.)

Job Description/ Responsibilities

Build and Automation: Utilize Gradle for building and automating software projects. Ensure efficient and reliable build processes.

Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts using Python and Shell scripting to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency.

CI/CD Tools: Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other relevant technologies. Ensure seamless integration and delivery of code changes.

Cloud Platforms: Demonstrate proficiency in working with cloud platforms including OpenShift, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in cloud environments.

Cross-functional Teamwork: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software products. Collaborate on troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication channels with team members and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.

Problem-solving: Engage in collaborative problem-solving sessions to address technical challenges and improve processes. Leverage the collective expertise of the team to find innovative solutions.
