Job Description
At Ensora Health, the FP&A team’s mission is to operate as an essential Business Partner to Ensora Health’s Leaders by offering strategic & financial analysis, advice and deliver the best possible insights for decision-making.Responsibilities
Completes the following work with some supervision and support from Senior FP&A Analyst and/or FP&A leadership:
Provide variance analysis with explanation of financial and operational performance as part of the monthly close process, and identify both risks and opportunities with respect to monthly financial results
Develop and consolidate full P&L financial reporting and analysis including results package for various executive financial reviews
Support Directors of FP&A in preparation of the month-end packages for senior and executive level business leaders to help encapsulate monthly results and forward-looking viewpoints
Work alongside the FP&A team and assigned divisional leaders to develop the annual budget, ongoing forecasts and prepare presentations on projected and actual results for management
Assist with preparation of Senior Level presentations for Finance meetings and Board of Director meetings (with review)
Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to analyze and evaluate performance within divisions of the company
Tell the story of business performance using high impact visuals with compelling insights for forward looking outlook and highlight priorities, risks and opportunities
Develop and modify financial reports for divisional and executive leadership, continuously looking for better insight, automation, and efficiency.
Partner with Accounting and Operations Teams to manage close timelines, processes, and reporting
Seek efficiencies in processes, designing for scale and flexibility
Be curious with strong desire to drive issues to root cause, such as in the explanation of key variances between actuals and plans / forecasts
Work to be reviewed by Senior FP&A Analyst, FP&A Manager and/or Director, FP&A.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree(s) and advanced degree(s) preferred with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business, or related fields
3 - 5 years of related Financial Planning & Analysis experience
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills required to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues
Expert level proficiency in Excel; comfortable working with Power Query, macros, nested formulas, etc.
Proficiency in PowerPoint; can easily create and edit professional corporate PowerPoint decks
Power BI, SQL, DAX, and/or Python experience strongly preferred
Proactive and takes initiative, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work with members of the FP&A team, and cross functionally with divisional leaders
Ability and strong desire to work in and learn dynamic financial systems
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to self-review work
Possesses strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and naturally derive solutions to business challenges
Takes ownership and shows a proactive attitude, driven to continuously improve our service levels.
Well-developed written and verbal communications skills
Hybrid WFH with an expected 3+ days a week in the Birmingham office
Previous experience with FP&A software solution, such as Adaptive or Anaplan desired
NetSuite or Workday experience desired
SaaS experience desired
