Prominent, highly visible Account Executive role with a rapidly growing safety software solutions company. You must have prior success selling conceptual services to Managers, Director’s, and Executive level decision makers in a competitive marketplace. You excel at building relationships and closing new business with Public Safety Organizations, State and Local Government Agencies, and K-12 School Districts. You must be accountable and a consistent self- starter, with the ability to generate and execute on strategic sales plans to win new business across a multi-state territory. What you'll do:
Develop a strong understanding of target buying personas, solution offering, and competitive landscape.
Prospect, identify, and qualify new opportunities.
Build and maintain healthy pipeline.
Demonstrated ability to sell to multiple buyers within an organization.
Develop and manage a sales forecast & pipeline in order to exceed annual quotas and goals.
Actively manage daily responsibilities to develop one’s territory such as cold calls, appointments, sales presentations, and proposals while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Territory: ND, SD, MN, WI, MI & OH
Who you are:
A self-starter with executive presence who has 5+ years of quota carrying software sales experience, preferably in the State and Local Government marketplace.
A proven track record of growing sales territories by developing and executing on a strategic sales plan. This includes direct sales initiatives as well as collaboration with channel partners and internal resources.
Someone who has managed a full sales desk, including prospecting, discovery, pricing, quoting, negotiating, and closing the deal.
A seller with experience selling into various customer profiles including 911, Emergency Management, Public Safety, County/City Executive Offices and K-12.
Target Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 USD
