Job description

Role Overview:

The company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant to support its Learning & Development content processes. This role plays a key part in managing and enhancing training materials for clients using various L&D software platforms. The Virtual Assistant will work behind the scenes, transforming existing content into engaging learning experiences within the client’s preferred software. This support will directly assist Stephanie Jarm, the owner and restaurant coach, allowing her to focus on client strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of meticulous execution, efficiency, and creative thinking to the role.

Key Responsibilities (L&D Focus):

• Platform Proficiency: Rapidly learn and become proficient in utilizing various L&D software for content building and management (We predominantly use Opus or Blanket).

• Content Migration: Accurately transfer existing training content from various client source materials (e.g., documents, presentations, legacy systems) into the client’s preferred platform.

• Methodology Adherence: Strictly follow established internal processes and guidelines for content structuring, formatting, and migration.

• Content Enhancement: Review migrated content and apply creative approaches within Opus features to improve learner engagement, interactivity, and overall effectiveness. This involves more than just copy-pasting; it requires thoughtful adaptation to the platform's capabilities.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high quality of all content transferred and enhanced within Opus.

• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Stephanie Jarm to receive assignments, clarify requirements, report progress, and refine content based on feedback. (Note: This role does not involve direct communication with external clients).
