Financial Analyst

As a leader in innovative smart waste technology and value-added solutions, we are expanding our Finance team and looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and driven individual to join us as a Financial Analyst.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a collaborative and data-savvy Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll analyze financial data, support forecasting and budgeting, and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You’ll play a key role in delivering insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Analyze and Report: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
  • Validate Data: Review and validate financial and operational data for accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the CFO, BI team, and other departments to align financial data with business goals.
  • Forecast and Model: Conduct scenario modeling and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Improve Processes: Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting and data governance.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial or data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (including Power Query and pivot tables) and Power BI.
  • Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • CPA designation or working toward CPA is considered an asset.
  • Experience with M Language (Power Query) and DAX (Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
