Job Overview

Under the direction of the Marketing Events Leader, the Marketing Events Coordinator works closely with the marketing communications, product marketing, sales, engineering, and operations teams to execute select company events held to promote our brands and products. The ideal candidate is a detail oriented, self-starter that is excited by the opportunity to execute multiple events simultaneously that meet or exceed event goals within budget.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide day-to-day planning and project management for assigned tradeshows, sales meetings, regional training opportunities, and other internal company meetings with a variety of target audiences simultaneously
  • Lead load-in and load-out planning and execution for all events
  • Oversee staffing, vendor relations and onsite event logistics with a high attention to detail; includes travel to events as needed
  • Assist with various other event logistics, including set up and tear down, procuring event materials, selecting menus, event asset management, audio-visual requirements, and other duties as assigned
  • Manage inventory of all marketing event materials
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to achieve desired event goals
  • Collaborate with accounting and vendors to ensure timely payment of event expenses
  • Create and maintain template-driven spreadsheets with a high attention to detail
  • Implement best practices and maintain high standards to ensure exceptional customer experiences at all events



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in event planning, business, marketing, or public relations (or equivalent experience and education)
  • Desire to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule (occasional night/weekend hours required)
  • Embraces technology and enjoys staying current on the latest tradeshow/event innovations and software tools
  • Proficient in Office Suite – including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to physically lift 50 pounds
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a laser focus on detail
  • Service oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding expectations.
