The Financial Analyst position will primarily support the data analysis and reporting of cash flow and net interest income drivers for Wyndham Consumer Finance (WCF).  The analyst will leverage financial, systems, and analytical proficiency to prepare monthly reporting and analysis in support of the company’s $3B loan portfolio and $2B in debt facilities. This position is remote, but will need to reside in the Las Vegas, NV area.

How You'll Shine:

  • Populate and run financial models and reporting for receivables, debt, and net interest income.

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and distribution of the monthly reports.

  • Provide forecast recommendations through interpretation of data and be able to present and discuss the results with the team.

  • Research and reconcile monthly variances to forecast and budget. 

  • Analyze cash flow and P&L impact of changes related to business risks & opportunities.

  • Develop, test, and implement improved methods for forecasting and reporting.  

  • Deliver reporting on operating metrics, securitization activity, and fulfill ad-hoc requests.

  • Assist with principal collection, default, and upgrade forecasts for approximately 15 debt facilities on-time and with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Pull monthly financial and statistical data utilizing multiple sources including Peoplesoft, Oracle Analytics Cloud, a query tool, Excel, and collaboration with other departments.

  • Assist with documentation and support for quarterly and annual audits. 

  • Support recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables.

  • Produce various ad-hoc analyses and research as requested for the WCF and Travel and Leisure Financial Management groups.

  • Performs other duties as needed

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or closely related field required

  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills

  • Intellectual curiosity and drive for results

  • Independent self-starter with the ability to source large sets of data and make appropriate recommendations

  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and team environment

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables with strict deadlines

  • Detail oriented, well organized and able to prioritize competing deliverables

  • Ability to communicate and partner effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Decision-minded, capable of providing management with clear paths to optimal results

  • Actively informs management of data issues and/or challenges and takes action to correct issues

  • Proficient Excel knowledge required for reoccurring reporting and analysis. Proven history of leveraging Excel functions to streamline and improve existing processes.

  • Experience with Hyperion, Oracle, Essbase, SharePoint, OBIEE and/or Tableau is a plus

  • Experience in the timeshare industry is a plus 

  • 1+ years financial planning & analysis and forecasting experience required. 3-5 years financial planning & analysis experience preferred.
