About The Role: Our Material Handler is responsible for the comprehensive handling, documentation, and staging of raw materials and finished products, including operating material handling equipment, assisting with inventory, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manages Material Handling & Logistics: Responsible for the complete cycle of loading, unloading, barcoding, wrapping, and placarding both raw materials and finished products, efficiently moving them using a forklift and other material handling equipment

  • Ensures Accurate Documentation & Staging: Completes all necessary documentation, prepares and stages product packaging with correct labeling and coding, and assists with inventory control, including verifying items against paperwork and reporting discrepancies

  • Performs Basic Maintenance & Support: Conducts periodic inspections and minor maintenance on equipment, signals deficiencies, and provides support to maintenance staff or packaging operators as needed

  • Contributes to Operational Excellence: Actively identifies process deviations and opportunities for improvement, flagging them with supervisors, and may participate in continuous improvement projects

  • Upholds Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping: Works strictly in accordance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations, promotes safety awareness, addresses hazardous situations promptly, and maintains a clean and organized work environment

Skills and Expertise  

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 1 year experience in chemical manufacturing
