We are looking for QHSE specialist that will be passionate about ensuring that all our colleagues in Spain sites are acting safely and enforce to our policies.

As a key member of the Occupational Risk Prevention Service (SPP), you will support staff as a technician specialist in safety, hygiene, psychosocial and ergonomics. 

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Implementing external and internal HSE regulations and ensuring that we follow the legislation. 
  • Identifying unsafe conditions and crafting safety awareness and behaviors. 
  • Conducting training of employees according to a training plan. 
  • Leading safety inspections and assisting internal, external, and regulatory audits. 
  • Investigate, analyze and document accidents, incidents and observations that enable the department to implement the due preventive and corrective actions. 
  • Identifying requirements for HSE for external contractors. 

What does it take to become our new team member? 

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry / Environmental or technical areas or University degree in HSE management. 
  • HSE training education as required by local legislation. (Technical Outstanding Health and Safety at Work with at least 2 specialties. 
  • Experience working with HSE on the shop floor in the chemical industry or similar and experience from a SPP or SPA is desirable. 
  • Proficiency in Word/XLS/PPT is preferred; familiarity with HSE software (e.g. D4, Assure) is beneficial. 
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO50001 would be valuable. 
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and consistent way in Spanish, Catalan and English both written and verbally.
