The Digital Transformation & Analytics Senior Specialist role has dual responsibility, covering Technology and software solution development, as well as project management with external and internal teams, in the Delivery of Digital transformation and Data flow management and data analytics to enhance data-driven decision-making within the organization, particularly in analytics-related deliverables.
Digital Transformation is a key part of the role that requires an understanding of the relevant technology used in the vertical transport industry, as well as the ability to comprehend business processes and apply LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies to recommend enhancements in current technology, operating methodologies, and offerings, leading to improved productivity and business results. Studying gaps and development areas within each business function and working on building new solutions, software modules, or automation to enhance the time taken for informed decision making at each level within the business functions.
Data Analytics part of the role analyzes business processes, offerings, services, and systems to improve current processes and make proposals for profitable business decisions that are based on data, analytics, and insights. The Analytics role requires holistic and deep knowledge of various analytics methods and tools. S/he supports the stakeholders with complex analytics use cases. S/he provides detailed information about business performance, eliminates inefficiencies in processes, and supports prioritizing improvement initiatives. The position has a key role in better data-based decision-making and driving improvements in analytics capabilities across the company.
Responsibilities and key activities
Study existing processes and gather enhancement requirements from stakeholders and design, and propose new solutions or automation to enhance productivity and business results
Guide and support business stakeholders in analyzing business performance by identifying trends, issues requiring attention, and improvement opportunities.
Support and drive the definition of business requirements for analytics.
Ensure that each problem or area of application is analyzed with valid methods
Understand data requirements and availability, how it impacts and limits possibilities in analytics
Act as the coordinator and key contact point between business stakeholders and specialized advanced analytics teams, ensuring that business needs are collected, defined, and prioritized, and that provided analyses fulfill the business needs.
Support the definition of business KPIs. Develop them and drive their implementation.
Design and develop data visualizations and dashboards.
Make and communicate conclusions and recommendations based on findings from analyses.
Guide and support business stakeholders in analyzing business performance by identifying trends, issues requiring attention, and improvement opportunities.
Support with the definition of business requirements for analytics, with a clear target and scope
Ensure the selection of the correct type of analytics for each area of application.
Are you the one?
Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information-oriented Business Administration/ Economics, Mathematics, or another relevant field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and process significant amounts of information with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across functions in an international environment
Good understanding of data analysis and ability to work with databases
Experience with data structures and other data sources is a plus
Experience with data visualization tools
Software development and Project management experience
Accuracy, attention to detail, and good organizational skills
Fluent written and oral English skills.
