About the role
Applications are now open for newly qualified Registered Nurses/Enrolled Nurses to join the St. Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney, 2025, Graduate Nursing Program. The program commences 2nd February 2026.
The program aims to develop clinical skills, support professional growth, and encourage reflective practice, in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Standards for Practice.
The St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney (SVPHS) Graduate Nursing Program offers clinical streams in:
Medical/Surgical Wards
Peri-operative (12 month dedicated stream, or available as a second rotation following a med/surg ward placement)
Intensive Care Unit (12 month dedicated stream *RNs only*)
Mental Health (available as a 6 month rotation with a med/surg rotation)
About you
You must have completed a Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing within the last 12 months or are due to complete and gain AHPRA registration to commence the program on 2nd February 2026.
Flexible work options are available to complete the program and include full time (5 days/week) and part-time (4 days/week).
The program is designed to integrate and upskill your nursing capability to become competent within an acute care facility.
Your skills will include:
Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA registration.
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice as a Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse.
Computer literacy and understanding of relevant information systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work within the interdisciplinary team.
Time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.
Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care and continued professional development.
