Location: Plano, Texas (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and lead the architectural design of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
  • Develop integration strategies with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Oversee the customization of Salesforce applications to meet specific business needs using tools including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flow while maintaining best practices.
  • Determine when to use configuration versus customization to balance flexibility and maintenance.
  • Develop data models that support business processes and reporting needs.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through proper data migration strategies and data governance practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments of system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the system architecture, design decisions, and implementation guidelines.
  • Document data models, workflows, and integration processes for future reference.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies to continually enhance the architecture.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging new Salesforce features and capabilities to improve business processes.
  • Develop and deliver workshops and training programs for end-users and developers to ensure they can effectively utilize Salesforce functionalities.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Create comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
  • Implement Agile methodologies to enhance project flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive team productivity.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and QA testers, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Provide clear direction and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work on Salesforce development and implementation.
  • Provide guidance to development teams on best practices for Salesforce development and implementation.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Address issues proactively, ensuring that project goals are met without compromising quality.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet defined standards.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Review technical designs and code to ensure adherence to Salesforce standards and architectural principles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights on Salesforce capabilities and strategic recommendations for maximizing ROI.
  • Help stakeholders understand how Salesforce can address their specific challenges.

  • Oversee two Associate 2, one Consultant 2, one Manager 1, and one Manager 3.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation 
  • utilizing deep business knowledge of Salesforce products to help assist with estimation for major new initiatives.
