Job description

 GrowthAssistant is looking for creative and experienced Video Editors! This role revolves in creating high-performing ads for paid social campaigns (TikTok, Meta, etc.).

The Role:

  • Edit short-form UGC and influencer content into high-performing ads for paid social campaigns (TikTok, Meta, etc.)
  • Translate detailed creative briefs into engaging video content with strong pacing, captions, transitions, and text overlays
  • Format final assets into multiple aspect ratios and export formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for omni-channel use
  • Work efficiently in Frame.io or similar platforms for review and collaboration cycles
  • Iterate on creative based on performance insights and stakeholder feedback
  • Maintain visual quality and brand tone across all videos and assets
  • Organize final deliverables for internal handoff to paid media team and internal systems (e.g., uploading to Air)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in performance-focused video editing, preferably with D2C/e-commerce brands
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Exceptional English fluency (spoken and written); able to listen and write accurate captions and overlays without provided transcripts
  • Deep understanding of what makes content convert across Meta/TikTok platforms
  • Ability to independently interpret briefs and manage multiple edit cycles at once
  • Willingness to work EST hours with some overlap for real-time feedback and coordination
  • Comfortable using a time-tracker tool during the shift (Hubstaff for productivity tracking and payroll purposes)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Basic static graphic design (GIFs, carousels) to round out editing workload as needed
  • Familiarity with tools like Frame.io, Air, and Slack
  • Experience with US brands and/or creative agencies producing UGC at scale

Growth Into:
  • Taking ownership of organizing creative assets and submitting final ads for campaign launches
  • Supporting performance marketing team with simple static ad creation and variant testing
  • Identifying repeatable frameworks and helping develop a library of high-performing edits



Application Process: Initial Interview -> Client Creative Test -> GA Final Interview -> Client Review/Interview/Approval  

Salary Range:  PHP 65,000 - 80,000 per month

Note: Rate/Salary will depend on your current competencies matched to the position’s job description and requirements based on the assessment results.
