Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst - Operations will play a pivotal role in streamlining our operations within the automobile industry. This role involves analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, working closely with cross-functional teams, and driving efficiency throughout our production and operational processes. As a trusted advisor, you will help inform decision-making through insightful analysis, forecasting, and operational strategy development.
Responsibilities
Operational Analysis: Analyze current operational process, identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to achieve operational excellence.
Data Interpretation: Gather and interpret data related to production, supply chain, and distribution, translating complex findings into understandable insights and actionable recommendations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and R&D to ensure alignment of operational strategies.
Forecasting: Use historical data and industry trends to forecast production needs, potential bottlenecks, and operational challenges.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with the operations team to design and implement new processes, ensuring they efficient, scalable, and align with the company's strategic goals.
Technology Integration: Partner with the IT department to recommend and implement technological solutions that can enhance operational efficiency.
Reporting: Create regular reports showcasing operational performance, challenges, and opportunities, presenting findings to senior management.
Training & Support: Guide operational teams on the implementation of new processes, or tools, providing training and ongoing support.
Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the automobile industry, ensuring our operations remain competitive.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within the automobile or manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and software.
In-depth knowledge of the automobile industry's operations and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders at all levels.

$100,000 - $120,000 / Year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
Supplemental Pay:
This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
