Service Technician

SUMMARY

Join our dynamic Service team to deliver top-tier training and safety certifications while performing hands-on work in our shop. As a Service Technician, you will inspect, service, repair, and ship a variety of customer safety products, including breathing apparatus, fall arrest equipment, gas monitors, fire extinguishers, and chain hoists, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

JOB DUTIES

• Test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair safety equipment, documenting work and preparing accurate estimates for customers.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, while maintaining parts inventory for mobile units and shop operations.
• Manage product inventory, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
• Prepare and review shipping/receiving documentation, including handling rental equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold company principles through teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.
• Adapt to additional duties as business needs evolve to support company goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong time management, multitasking skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to obtain manufacturer certifications within the first year of employment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software.
• Strong math skills, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player attitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Lift bulky objects
•  Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, reach and lift, ladder climb and carry, crawling.
•  Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid passport for occasional U.S. travel for training purposes.
