As a Fast Track Case Manager, your role is to proactively manage and finalise lower-risk workers compensation claims.

You’ll be responsible for triaging new claims, escalating complex matters to Liability Specialists, and ensuring all claims are handled in line with EML’s policies, procedures, and service standards and providing timely handover of accepted claims to our specialised teams.

This is a permanent, full time position based in our Melbourne office, with the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days.
 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims, making decisions in line with EML policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Claims Management Plans to support positive and sustainable Return to Work outcomes.
  • Identify potential barriers and implement strategies to support timely recovery and return to work.
  • Ensure all claim file data, documentation and correspondence are accurate and meet legislative and internal standards.
  • Manage payments, investigations and legal costs within your portfolio in a timely and compliant manner.
     

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment dealing with a high volume of enquiries.
  • Effectively manage your time in order to achieve deadlines within required time frames.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to accurately use multiple software in a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate with others in order to achieve outcomes.
