Job Description

LabWare Global Services (LGS) has immediate openings for Consultants. LGS is interested in energetic, highly motivated team players to join the Services team that is responsible for the design, configuration, deployment and support of LabWare solutions.

Services Responsibilities and Expectations: 

• Interface with customer to gather User Requirements
• Participate in Gap Fit
• Design, configuration, unit test, and deployment of LabWare Products
• Design and implement interfaces with external applications
• Implement instrument integration with the LabWare products 
• Work with LabWare Global Services PMO and Management
• Develop and maintain superior LabWare product knowledge
• Ability and willingness to work independently and with a team
• Provide consistent OOB designs for clients and avoid excessive use of LIMS Basic 
• Be able to create and design blueprints for the conceptual system before any development or configuration begins
• Be able to conduct code reviews of others against the LabWare configuration guidelines
• Train and mentor associates and other consultants

Technical Skills: 

• 5+ years’ experience designing, configuring, and deploying laboratory software solutions
• Database knowledge (Oracle / SQL)
• Citrix knowledge
• Expert in LIMS Basic
• Expert in Crystal Reports 
• Working knowledge of current web technologies
• Operating Systems – Windows knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Self-motivated
• Possess a familiarity with laboratory workflows
• Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Positive attitude, ability to motivate customers and establish credibility
• Be able to organize meetings, keep meetings in order, define agendas for meeting with clear goals, actions and deliverables
• Ability to accommodate at least 50% overnight travel (interstate and country) and schedule flexibility
