Key Responsibilities:
Painting and dressing of pumps, fitting guard seals, running lube lines to bearings.
Supporting fitters with compliance documentation, reports and various other tasks
Parts handling – picking, packing, and preparing accumin kits
Liaise with other departments of the Service Division as required
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Experience in similar role in heavy industry/equipment and/or manufacturing
Experience in prepping, spray painting and dressing of equipment and parts handling - desirable
Highrisk Forklift ticket – required
Overhead crane and doggers – highly regarded
Well developed written and verbal communication
Ability to work within a team and unsupervised

Purpose of Role: As the Trade Assistant, you will assist with various task within the branch such as painting and dressing of pumps, assisting the Fitters with manual tasks, and supporting stores with tasks such as receipting and dispatching of goods and all other tasks that support the daily running of the workshop.
