Position Summary:

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that improve search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and enhance the overall visibility of our digital content. You will work across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO efforts and collaborate with content, web development, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic growth and meet KPIs.
  • Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues (e.g., site speed, crawl errors, broken links).
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content creation and page optimization.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, images, and internal linking structures for SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and website copy.
  • Manage backlink strategies, including outreach and monitoring of link profiles.
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and digital marketing trends.


Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on SEO experience within a digital marketing or agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Proven track record of improving organic search performance and increasing keyword rankings.
  • Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify), and structured data/schema markup.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with local SEO and/or international SEO strategies.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript and how it impacts SEO.
  • Background in content marketing or copywriting.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications.
