In connection with the dynamic development of the company, Straal is now expanding its footprint to the Lithuanian market where Hireview has been selected to support Straal in its search for a Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities:

Creates, maintains, and improves all compliance policies and manuals as required by law, and local regulatory requirements
Audits processes, practices, and documents, and ensures that the company has effective systems, procedures, and controls for AML and KYC compliance
Creates and manages effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
Oversees and monitors the implementation of all compliance programs
Collaborates and liaises with internal departments, regulators, authorities, and external service providers to resolve legal and compliance issues
Advises management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports
Develops efficient procedures and controls to maintain an effective compliance regime while meeting business objectives
Maintains extensive documentation
Performs financial investigations
Reports to the BoL on compliance matters
Trains the staff on compliance matters

Requirements:

Experience as a compliance officer for at least 2-3 years
Understanding of local and EU level regulations, KYC and AML practices
Knowledge of legislation and regulation relating to payment industry
Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
Exceptional analytical and investigative skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and English languages
