Responsibilities:

• Entire laboratory management
  • Active work for laboratory safety, ensure EHSQ responsibility
  • Actively practice and enforce laboratory safety and order
  • Laboratory annual work plan
  • Implement 5S system in laboratory
  • Develop and optimize laboratory workflow
  • Technical application trials in laboratory and pilot line
  • Laboratory equipment and asset management
  • Annual budget for the laboratory and control it(assets, maintenance and investment)
• Laboratory technician management
  • Define a clear FOA career for team members
  • Subordinate employee assignment
  • Instruct laboratory engineers to designate work plans and supervise completion
• TCC requirement management
  • Routing sample application (efficiency and effective)
  • Supporting R&D and specialists
  • TCC data analytical (feedback system, monthly report)
• Ensure validity of the applied PIBs, analytical methods and devices
• Employee training management (e.g. new employees)
• Ensure all visitors and users in laboratory abide by SurTec health and safety rules.
• Innovation
  • New analytical process creation

Qualifications:

• Post-graduate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry or Applied Chemistry, or related field
• Job experience preferred
• Good command in English (written and verbal) is essential
• Good communication skills, in English or Mandarin
• Computer literate
• Methodical and systematic in problem solving
• Excellent report-writing skills
• Must be able to develop and write operating and control procedures
• Able to work in a team environment or independently, with minimal supervision
• competent in operating combination of these instruments (ICP-OES, AAS, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, SEM-EDX) and interpret spectra
• Practical experience in 5S and GLP
