Market leading accounting firm offering bespoke client solutions urgently needs an Accounting Supervisor to work with both domestic and international clients and offer a wide range of services such as Book-Keeping, Management Accounting, Payroll, VAT and Tax compliance join their successful team.

Salary up to €45K depending on experience

Role & Responsibilities

Supervise, monitoring and motivate a successful team
Ensure established policies and procedures are always followed
Undertake Accounting, VAT and Tax return reviews
Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Provide first class customer service ensuring clients receive prompt feedback to their requests and queries
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
Keep abreast with local and international accounting and tax developments and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base

Skills and Experience

Bachelor degree in accounting or ACCA / ACA qualified
Circa three years of experience in a client accounting role
Able to manage and supervise a team
Possess in-depth knowledge of IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards, as well as the Income Tax Act and the Value Added Tax Act
Articulate and able to communicate in English both written and verbally
Knowledge in taxation and/or liquidations is an asset

About this Role

Up to €45K depending on experience
Hybrid with flexible hours - Summer Hours (July, August – On Fridays we leave at 2pm!)
