The Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and processes that support the organization’s production, quality, and cost objectives. The role demands strong analytical skills, hands-on problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and performance.
• Create 2D/3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Inventor). • Perform FEA / CFD simulations to validate designs for strength, thermal load, and manufacturability. • Generate technical specifications for new machinery, tooling, and fixtures. • Lead or support end-to-end project lifecycle: concept, cost estimation, scheduling, procurement, installation, and commissioning. • Coordinate with vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline targets. • Analyze chronic equipment failures, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions. • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans, including spare-parts strategies. Drive Lean / Six-Sigma initiatives to reduce cycle time, energy usage, and waste. • Implement kaizen events, value-stream mapping, and OEE tracking to boost productivity. Essential Qualifications
