PRODUCT ORGANIZATION

Recognized leaders in technology implementations, Legends Technology Product Organization provides software that support the various verticals within Legends. Our vertical service solution allows us to provide the latest trends, styles, designs, and brand collaborations across different categories. For in-venue, e-commerce and pop-up operations, Legends sets the standard when it comes to a unique shopping experience.  We pride ourselves in creating a customized portfolio of inventory based on each property and operating as a true extension of each client’s brand.  Different guests want different things, and we are here to build and provide a tailored retail experience. 

THE ROLE   

We are looking for a talented, innovative, and enthusiastic engineer to help us build products to support our different lines of business that serve our clients.  You will work closely with other engineers, key business stakeholders, and product directors to bring products to life, creating exceptional experiences.

You’re an engineer with strong attention to detail who is willing to learn new technologies. You will build best-in-class eCommerce storefronts, implement apps, handle migrations and integrations using modern web development principles. You will support backend implementations that can be leveraged across lines of business.  You will implement new digital technology and development techniques that achieve business objectives. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with internal and external stake holders to learn existing business processes and where we can make impactful enhancements as a team.
  • Handle multiple high priority items.
  • Learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of SLDC processes.
  • Write software that is high quality, well tested, and easy to understand.
  • Flourish in an agile environment.
  • Gather requirements and update stories with the latest information.
  • Follow defined coding standards.
  • Comment code, and document all customizations to satisfy internal user and audit requirements
  • Handle DevOps responsibilities in production as a priority.
  • Work and supports architects, tech leads and team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE   

  • Bachelor's degree from in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in software engineering, with a background in full-stack development using Java, Spring, TypeScript, and Next.js
  • Hands-on experience building, and maintaining platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon AWS
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Core programming and Object-Oriented concepts
  • Understanding of system and integration components
  • Experience with GIT version control
  • Experience with unit testing, QA/QC, and operational troubleshooting
  • Experience in interpreting and working with third-party APIs
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, service oriented and responsible.
  • Eagerness to work in a rapidly changing, diverse environment and a willingness to accept ownership and responsibility of the technologies being used
  • Able to perform effectively with supervision, either independently or as a team member.
