At Bupa, we’re here to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives – and make a better world. As a global healthcare leader with no shareholders, our focus is always on our customers. That means we reinvest profits into better care, better experiences, and better outcomes.

As a Pricing Solutions Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we price our health insurance and wellbeing products. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that works across IT, Sales, Product, and Actuarial functions – all united by a shared purpose: to make health happen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement pricing solutions across Bupa UK and BG Insurance & Non-Insurance products, including PMI, Dental, Cash Plan, and Third Party agreements.
  • Collaborate with IT Architects, Developers, Product Owners, and Analysts to deliver high-quality pricing implementations.
  • Calculate and apply rate changes, develop new pricing methodologies, and ensure solutions meet business and customer expectations.
  • Support Sales and other business areas with day-to-day pricing queries and consultation.
  • Review business requirements, user stories, and test strategies to identify risks and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Continuously improve internal processes to protect financial targets and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Commercial Finance, Product, Sales, and Change.
  • Provide clear documentation and audit trails for pricing decisions.
  • Support and mentor new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate calibre – ideally with a background in mathematics, statistics, or operational research.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with experience in insurance or financial services preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Apps; experience with SQL or other coding languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Bupa’s product range and pricing structures is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self-sufficient mindset with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Experience working with data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, SAS) and interpreting risk trends is advantageous.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to strategic pricing decisions.
