Key responsibilities:

Arrowhead’s Manufactured Housing Program is looking for an Associate Account Executive to join our team. In this position, you will provide technical and advanced administrative support to the Account Executive. This position will document customer files, handle routine tasks, and process renewals and endowments.

Arrowhead’s Manufactured Housing Program, operating as a division of Brown & Brown Insurance, offers Property & Liability for manufactured home communities, dealers and RV parks, with enhanced coverage for the industry’s unique exposures.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Assists Account Executive with checking and releasing renewal proposals.

  • Sets up customer files.

  • Reviews policies for accuracy.

  • Assists Account Executive with maintaining customers’ electronic files.

  • Assists Account Executive on customer renewal files.

  • Submits claims and policy changes.

  • Assists Account Executive with inputting new business submissions.

  • Runs Risk Meter Reports on new business.

  • Prepares monthly summary reports, including production, rate monitoring, hit ratio.

  • Contributes to the creation of promotional materials and sales presentations for agents.

  • Maintains marketplace knowledge, including insights into competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.

  • Maintains proficiency in software and technology tools.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with agents and producers to facilitate communication and support.

  • Attends trade shows and accompanies Account Executive to agent visits which may involve out-of-state travel.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year related experience in the insurance industry and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Understanding of general insurance processing functions.

  • Have a high level of organizational ability and attention to detail.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks and assignments in required timeframes.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Possess a high level of motivation to achieve necessary involvement within a team.

  • Insurance agency experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of multi-line Property and Casualty coverage and products preferred.

  • Broad understanding of insurance policies, forms, and applications preferred.
