This is a fully remote position


 

Insurance Sales Agent, Entry Level  

Start Date - August 11, 2025 (Monday)

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite) 

Office Address: 2010 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78702

Compensation: $50,000 + commission  

This is 100% onsite position. Paid training provided. We Insure will cover license testing fees for new agents. If hired, Agent must agree to obtain Property and Casualty License within the State of Texas post hire as a condition of employment.

Your Impact.  

As a producer you will play a pivotal role in prospecting, cross selling and producing new property and casualty, insurance policies and accounts as well the renewal retention of existing agency billed accounts. Your contributions will directly influence assist clients in selecting insurance policies that best meet their needs, preferences and budgets.  

Key Responsibilities.  

  • Maintain knowledge of carrier partner products to recommend appropriate coverage based on customers’ needs and applicable regulations 

  • Assist in taking inbound and outbound calls coming into the National Sales Center in Austin, TX

  • Meet and exceed sales goals by gaining quality leads, outside referrals and cross-selling existing client base with a consultative approach   

  • Proactively build a network of new clients through a series of outreach strategies, including phone calls, in-person meetings, and social media   

  • Re-shop & rewrite existing customer policies as needed   

  • Enter all clients and prospects into the Agency Management System and work assigned activities 

  • Maintain a courteous and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, and other business contacts 

  • Communicate sales or service opportunities and customer concerns and suggestions with senior leadership 
     

Your Experience.  

  • Candidate must be self-driven, results oriented, and coachable 

  • Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation 

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or Customer Service Representative - one to three years preferred

  • Ability to work with computers and understand new technologies  

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships  

  • Must be willing to obtain Property and Casualty License within the State of Texas (if not obtained at time of hire, We Insure will support license testing fees for new agents)

  • This position requires a high school diploma or the equivalent (G.E.D.)   

  

Work Environment: This role requires agent to be onsite at the Austin office (5 days a week).
