Packaging/Accessory Technician

Purpose

The purpose of this job is to wrap cabinet parts for shipment to customers. This individual will be formally responsible for ensuring all parts are free from defects and packaged with care to ensure safe and successful delivery. The role will handle parts of various sizes and shapes and those interested in the role must be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 50lbs on an individual basis and up to 150lb with a partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs the required amount of work that will enable the team to meet the weekly Accessory dept. productivity requirements.
• Performs work in accordance with Accessory dept. quality standards. This includes:
  • Accurate shipping label, accessories wrapped to prevent damage, and proper handling of finished product.
  • Ensures each job is organized in shipping cart and accounted for.
  • Assists other areas or departments as necessary.

Qualifications

Attributes / Qualifications

• The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability, and environmental conditions required. 
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 45lbs on a consistent basis

Required Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
