Who you are: 

The Content Marketing Coordinator supports the planning and execution of the High School Outbound (HSOB) content marketing plan. From authoring and editing original web, social and email copy to coordinating the integration of new web pages and email nurtures, this role is a unique opportunity to grow as a well-rounded marketer. 

We’re looking for candidates with strong copywriting and project management skills, to be able to not only coordinate but actively contribute to producing, updating, and managing our HSOB content (web, social, video). 

This role reports directly to the HSOB Content Marketing Manager and will collaborate internally with other HOSB Marketing Coordinators and the larger CIEE Digital Marketing Team and HSOB sales team to plan the execution of the HSOB marketing plan and track performance over time.

What you’ll do: 

Content Marketing

1. Support the Content Marketing Manager with the planning and execution of the SOB Content Marketing plan, including the development, management, and publication of original content needs (video, text, photo).
2. Author or edit new written pieces as required for publication on the blog, website and social media.
3. Keep asset library organized and current.
4. Track and compile content performance metrics.

Web content

1. Author or edit original web content as required.
2. Coordinate publication of new content for web.
3. Curate visuals and video for web pages and sheperd new page content through internal approval process.
4. Consolidate web edit requests and coordinate edits with web team.
5. Coordinate with CIEE Digital Marketing Team to keep 3rd party site listing inventory up to date.
6. Collaborates with the web/SEO team to run A/B testing.

Develop new material and update existing assets:

1. Able to update/edit existing digital graphics and print collaterals or templates such as sell sheets, flyers, posters etc.
2. Help develop copy and curate visuals for new digital and print content.
3. Coordinate external freelance resources for the production of larger scale print, digital, copywriting and video projects.
4. Research and follow current web and digital trends/best practices.
5. Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring: 

Knowledge Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business management or related field.
2. 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or related function at an agency or internal marcom department.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
3. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
4. Experience managing content for a brand.
5. Experience in basic graphic design and fluency in the Adobe Software suite (specifically, InDesign, Photoshop) or Canva.
6. Experience with simple video editing (iMovie, Premiere, Windows Movie Maker) a plus.
7. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Comfortable with web-based project management tools and collaboration technologies.
9. Creative problem solving with a “can-do mentality”.
10. Flexible, can embrace change in a rapidly evolving work and market environment.
11. Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Optional/Plus:

1. Experience with Drupal or similar CMS is a plus.
2. International experience is a plus.
