We are seeking an Education Sales Consultant (ESC) to join our Sales team, working predominantly with schools across Western Australia, and some in the Northern Territory. This role will be focused on engaging with our customers and schools to develop deep relationships and deliver targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed sales objectives. This is a great opportunity for those with a background in the education sector or those with sales or account management experience seeking a new challenge.   


To be eligible, you must be based in Australia, have full working rights, and be willing to work primarily in Australian Western Standard Time (AWST).


What you will be doing:  

 

You will play a key role in driving sales of 3P Learning educational programs within a designated portfolio. This role focuses on direct customer engagement through online and face to face demonstrations, sales activity and pipeline management. The ideal candidate will develop deep relationships with educational institutions, effectively analyse market opportunities, and deliver targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed sales objectives.  

 

How you will make a difference:  

 

  • Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets by leveraging face-to-face interactions and outbound calling as primary sales tactics.  
  • Client Visits: Conduct regular visits to schools and educational institutions within the territory to build relationships, assess needs, and present solutions.  
  • Outbound Calling: Perform daily outbound calls to prospect new clients, follow up on leads, and maintain engagement with existing customers, aiming to schedule further discussions and demonstrations.  
  • Market Analysis: Analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify
    new sales opportunities and areas for product enhancement.  
  • Product Demonstration:
    Demonstrate the educational program features and benefits during client visits and through scheduled webinars or virtual meetings.  
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at educational fairs, conferences, and workshops to network with potential clients and promote products.  
  • Feedback Loop: Regularly collect and report customer feedback to the product development and marketing teams to help shape future software enhancements and marketing campaigns. 

 

What you will bring with you:  

 

  • A minimum of 3-5 years in sales, preferably with experience in educational or technology product sales.  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a geographical sales area, meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a strong foundation in both face-to-face and remote selling techniques  
  • Demonstrable time and pipeline management skills with the ability to manage many accounts simultaneously.  
  • Excellent skills in initiating contact and maintaining customer relationships through effective outbound calling and personal visits, delivering outbound sales campaigns.   
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, strong negotiation skills.   
  • Strong capability to analyse data and trends to develop strategic sales plans and responses.  
  • Flexibility to adapt to market changes and persistence in the face of sales challenges.  
  • Experience in Value selling. 
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to quickly learn and explain software features.  
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is desirable, but not essential.
