About the role

We are looking for a technically driven and strategic Product Owner to lead the development of our innovative data aggregation platform. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing external data suppliers, defining API integration strategies, and building a comprehensive data ecosystem that delivers unique value through intelligent aggregation and deduplication.

Key Responsibilities

• API Integration & Testing: Conduct technical evaluations of potential data supplier APIs, perform integration tests, and assess data quality metrics.

• Market Research & Supplier Discovery: Research and identify new data suppliers across target industries, building comprehensive supplier databases.

• Vendor Communication & Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact with existing data suppliers, negotiate terms, and resolve technical or operational issues.

• Data Quality Analysis: Monitor incoming data streams, perform quality assessments, and implement data validation processes.

• Strategic Planning & Documentation: Update product roadmaps, create technical specifications, and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with development teams on API integrations, brief executives on supplier partnerships, and align data strategy with business objectives.

• Industry Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into new market sectors to identify unique data opportunities and competitive advantages.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of API architecture and integration with hands-on development experience.

• Proven track record working with external APIs and integrating third-party data sources.

• Ability to rapidly evaluate, test, and compare data supplier APIs with technical competency to assess data quality.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform deep-dive analysis of various industries.

• Experience creating technical documentation and preparing executive summaries for data partnerships.

• Ability to define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data-driven platform.

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder outreach and vendor management.

• 2+ years of experience in product management.

• 1+ years of experience in development.

• Advanced understanding of the development process, planning, and execution

• Fluent English.

• Strong analytical and strategic mindset with experience in executive reporting.

Nice to have

• Entrepreneurial background with real-world business-building experience.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
